Day 021 will be basic arrival & home claiming etc. She’ll be found by John Constantine.

Day 022 she’s going to be trying to dig into whatever things she can. Early on she might need a lot more help than not, not knowing where things are and everything. She’s gonna see if there’s anything in Braille in the library. She isn’t fluent but she’s spent months relearning how tf to live so. She’ll be stubborn about needing the help but she’ll deal with it if only because she wants to know wtf is happening 😆

Someone tell her about John’s information meeting because she’ll want to be there if she knows about it!! She will probably begin making theories based on whatever she finds out here haha!

Day 023 she thinks it was stupid to receive a lantern as a gift, but it’s been sitting lit on her counter since then.

Mmmostly I’ll just be flinging Melanie anywhere and everywhere. Settling makes specific plotting hard!!

Maybe the library? He can help her find out if there is anything in Braille, she assumes most people don’t know it after all so who knows what strange secrets may have been hidden all this time!

Day 021

4 days no sleep; his thoughts flow worse, and don’t connect as well, he might be losing train of thought mid-sentence, not understanding things he’s being told.

Finding Zed! Finally gets to meet the other psychic. And bringing her to John. Gets a smooch~ from John for his troubles and is ??? but amused by this!

Probably discussing what do about the lanterns with Five and/or other boarding house folks

Day 022

5 days no sleep; he ends up in the midst of a hallucination with Dear ol’ Dad. Boarding house person can witness/snap him back to reality, maybe?

Town hall meeting!! Things he’ll note

» The deep, unsettling nothingness void when he tried to channel Five’s spirit when he died

» How he got nothing at all (not a void feeling just. Nothing there at all) from the specters; A cold darkness from The Stranger

» How lacking this place is in ghosts and how weird that is for him

Day 023

6 days no sleep; he’s barely keeping it together, coffee isn’t helping any more; gets panicked whenever he starts drifting off to sleep; will probably ask for someone to help keep him awake.

That night, Five is going to insist he gets some sleep. His nightmare repercussions from trying to channel The Stranger begin.

Etc;

Boarding house residents are welcome to wildcard an insomnia chat on any of these days (til Five demands he gets some sleep anyway!)

General haunts are the general store for cigs & snacks, occasionally he hits up the beauty supply & clothing stores idly browsing.

And of course, hmu if you want anything not listed here, or if I’ve forgotten something we discussed before to do in this log! I promise I still want to do things, I’m just a bit scatterbrained 😂

after he insists klaus gets some sleep and stays with him, he will be going to do his attempt! so would his convincing be the night of day 22 to the morning of 23, or would you prefer it on the 23rd?? just wanna get the timeline right in my head sorry!!!

No man, it works! Cuz he's having that Dad hallucination earlier on Day 22 so like I imagine the exhaustion and everything could super-duper catch up a lot there, after the fact. And if Five hears about it, that could be the catalyst too, to him putting his foot down about Klaus having to get some sleep. SO ACTUALLY I Think this all works even better LOL

EX-SQUEEZE ME, sir, we lost you at 13, Y E S you would be missed. (I think a lot about how Five was the first, and really only, true loss Klaus ever had, b/c he wasn't dead, and he couldn't be conjured, and there was never any evidence of anything ever about him for all those years)
