yen is a sorceress; notably, she has some telepathy powers that will be almost entirely nerfed, unless both she and the other person do a spell to establish it, like a radio channel ; more on her here

▶ day 24-25

boarding house crew! she'll be waking up in the shared living room space.

the first thing she will try and do, likely, is try and portal herself out of there. if anyone wants to be exposed to her magic early on and see her fail miserably at it, please do!

otherwise, she will want to be exploring and trying to understand what is happening, so she will want to talk so the people she finds here.

when the power goes out, she will be lighting some candles, or the fireplace, or anything that she can burn. this will be to some expense to her wellbeing, given that she still needs to learn the newly imposed restrictions on her magic.

she will be waking up in the boarding house, still pissed and injured, but a bit less bloodied.

she will want to talk to others she hasn't yet met in the boarding house.

Wake up: Slumped against the floor of the entry hall

Initial Reaction/Explorations: Likely, she'll be calling for Eliot, since he's one of the only people she knows so far. When that turns up nothing, she'll talk to whoever she comes across.

Day 025
The noises: She's going to decide somehow, this is The Buried's territory. Gather 'round for creepy story time, darlings~

I didn't get to properly intro Melanie last month, so come at me, guys! I need to get some CR under her belt and she doesn't know any of the people she's trapped with. This is actually perfect for CR-gathering, I'm super pleased!

Negan | The Walking Dead

Negan is going to wake up slumped over the dining table, stiff and deeply confused.

But after he figures out where he is, what he's going to do is first: try to keep his shit together and help things go as smoothly as possible. He can cook (Ask him about his spaghetti and homemade bread!), he can clean, and keep the fire going so they're all nice and toasty. Survival is Negan's thing and he'll be trying very hard to keep everyone else alive too.

If the phone lines aren't down, he might try to call out and see if he can get a hold of any familiar faces, but since everyone is scattered, that's probably not going to go very well.

Losing power is going to suck, but he's used to doing without that. It's the other activity that'll get to him. The scratching and other odd poltergeist-esque stuff is something he'll want to investigate/get to the bottom of if anyone wants to try to help him!

Malcolm Bright | Prodigal Son

State of the Malcolm
- He is wearing the pyjamas he cobbled together from found clothes, which consist of track pants that are a little too long for him with the last few snaps undone so they kind of flap around his feet and a t-shirt that is also a bit too long for him. His feet are bare. He has a winter coat he found in the closet at the house and his fancy mens' dress shoes he was wearing when brought from New York. No socks bc he sleeps in bare feet.
-He's off his meds and away from the environment and people he could go to for some semblance of comfort/self care, so his mental health will not be in a good place. He'll likely be highly anxious and will probably be found talking to (arguing with?) someone who isn't there when left to his own devices.

Day 24/25
- He likely will not sleep the two nights they're trapped here, trying to hold out as long as possible without his bungee cords or anyone he trusts around. They don't need his screaming in the night on top of the scratching and other noises. If other people want to sleep, he will volunteer to keep the fires/candles lit and keep paranoid watch. They don't know how long they'll be stuck there, so he will proceed as if this is the new normal and try to create some sort of routine. A routine that does not involve sleeping, so there are some flaws in this plan.

Day 26/27
- If he finds the cowboys safe at home and learns about their experiences, he will want to check on his other friends and he will want to inspect the town, as it were, to see if whoever is behind it all changed anything while they were caged. Why else indispose them all?

Ellie | The Last Of Us

If any of y'all mentioned here want to find her, please do! I'm especially interested in someone to hang out with her in the darkness at the end of either evening. A fun reminder, Ellie has relatively low sanity compared to most of Mathias! Ya girl needs some friends, and probably to eventually tell someone about Joel.

Actually this is a great time to talk about Joel bc I like hurting myself, but I'll ponder how/why I want to do that. This blizzard is just reminding her of the last blizzard, which was...really terrible. So if you don't mind massive TLOU2 spoilers...

I submitted for an IDEA in the boarding house bc I'm short on imagination this month I guess!

Ellie just sleeps in her clothes, sans shoes, lucky her! So she'll have a shirt and jeans on.

day 24-25

zed will wake up on the floor of the kitchen. she's going to be very confused (lol who isn't). at first she's going to try to leave and when she can't she's going to look to see who else is in the house and what is going on. other than that she's open for everything. she'll want to get to know everyone else in the house and will probably spend her nights sketching using whatever supplies she can find. she might be a bit more skittish at first since she's still a bit shocked from the fact she was missing for days and has no memory and now this? she had been working on trying to get her visions working again with john so she may try to force one and end up with a headache or worse.

days 26-27

once she's able to leave she's going to want to check in on a lot of people, to make sure they're all still there and okay. she'll then go find john and get back to working on her visions again.

THE GREY GULL —

So Neal will probably try and cook for people both because... they need to eat and it will distract him at least for a little while. It probably won't go well because of the CONSTANT WHISPERING. By the time the sleep dep effects start to hit he'll be trying to isolate himself from everyone else but given there aren't many places to go... that probably won't go well either.

But yeah much of his initial day will be spent trying to take care of other people! Because he's better at dealing with other ppl's issues than his own lmfao.

Also might give him some hallucinations on day 25 because I AM A BENEVOLENT GOD.

ALSO MIGHT GIVE HIM HIS FIRST DOSE OF FUTURE KNOWLEDGE??? Need to... put in my AP for that first tho.

Eliot Spencer | Leverage

Day 024-025

-Eliot will be trying to make chili with whatever's fresh in the restaurant, to try and help warm people up. He's used to sleep deprivation and will think that he can handle this but when it starts to get really bad he's going to be very grumpy and prone to arguing and maybe even fisticuffs if it gets really bad. It actually takes a lot to get him to actually fight but he'll talk a big game about it before it actually happens.

Day 026-027

-Newbieliot will be exploring the town, looking for a place to live, and just trying to figure out what the hell is going on here.

Sherlock Holmes ✣ BBC's Sherlock

First of all, apologies to all the people Sherlock is stuck in here with.

He likes to think he's invincible so the first day, at least, he'll do a good job of ignoring the elements against them, as well being sleep deprived. A bit into day two he'll probably start feeling it (in combination with not being able to figure out this puzzle).

Things Sherlock might do when he starts to go stir crazy: try to pull up the floorboards, checking the corners and shadowy parts of rooms for hiding spots such as trick walls, pace and talk to himself, yell things to whoever is doing this because there must be someone watching and there must be cameras somewhere. It might go in fits - an hour or two spent sitting still and thinking and then a sporadic outburst of action. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Definitely going to be dropping AP. Stay tuned for deets.

Daisy is going to be utterly miserable during these two days. Yay? But really, her power is based around vibrations, and sound by extension, so piercingly loud sounds and strong vibrations are going to Wreck Her. She's already been dealing with her power not quite working right in this place and suffering injuries because of it, so she's going to be living in a constant state of pain and just soldiering on through it as best she can. It's not her first rodeo, okay?

Speaking of powers... If she notices anyone particularly suffering from the earthquake-like sensations (which are NOT her fault this time!!), she may try to absorb some of the shaking with her power, which... Would just result in further injury, but she wouldn't know that for certain at the time, okay. Helping people is her Thing.

Which is what she'll be doing when she's trying to just survive this hell she's been put in because she accidentally quaked in her sleep and broke her lantern. :( Who needs help? Kitchen people? She can't really cook but she can assist. Dummies suffering from blood loss? She's got recent experience with that. Anyone need a good distraction? She can tell you all about her adventures fighting aliens and supervillains for a living.

She's probably going to also notice that Elijah is having the same kind of Issue with the sounds that she is. It'll be a very "So, I'm part alien, what are you?" conversation that will be kept private because she knows all too well what it's like to be hated and feared for what you are.

I'm just going to put all my plotting here as it's easier for me. c:

OVERALL

• Elena died from blood loss before coming here and I haven't really tapped into that so I'm going to be having her deal with it in this log. Her entire body was drained in canon and she keeps pushing herself beyond her limits so… time for Elena to Not Look Or Be Okay.
• On top of that, she has a Madness, which is the fear of cemeteries. Even though there are none in the Grey Gull and she probably won't be near one outside of Days 24-25, I'm going to lean in on that so I can play with it before it expires.

DAYS 24-25

• Elena hasn't been in the Grey Gull before so she'll see this as her opportunity to put her fingers everywhere and just try and find out how different it is to the Mystic Grill.
• She's going to be hella stubborn as sleeplessness drones on so if anyone wants to get up to shit like tearing down things, pulling up floorboards, raiding the kitchen, she's your girl.
• She will try to sleep at first and then when that seems very useless and farfetched as an idea, she's going to be pushing herself to stay awake.
• I want her to pass out at the end of it because I need my drama and the mentioned blood loss trauma.

DAYS 26-27
I don't really have much planned for these two days, so I'm very open. Thought starters below:

• Elena's probably going to be sticking to the Boarding House and probably trying to rest her body.
• In the meantime, I'd like her to check up on people she knows and meet some new people as well.
• She does want to investigate who "Jill" is as well as investigate the shadowy thing she witnessed in the last log eat up a spectre, so she's very Investigaty.
• Also with all this vampire talk, if anyone comes for Elijah, she's not going to be happy. Even though she's just a human girl, she can still cause a lot of damage and make you feel really, really, really bad for being a jerk. (She's a great emotional manipulator and has Doe Eyes.) That said, she won't be divulging his personal information but anyone is welcome to speak to her since she's always hanging around Elijah anyway.
• I think I'll spend some AP so ??? not sure what that is yet but if I'd love to be able to rope someone in once I do.

I'd love for Dean wake up on the counter and accidentally kick the bowl of fruit off the surface, for those waking up on the first floor. I'm also for multi-threads as well, depending on what people prefer/might light.

Dean will be preparing meals for everyone, because it gives him something to focus on. He will be trying to break every window, door, and pending mod answers, the mirrors.

On day 024, Dean will be badly hungover, try to get out and then relent and make a big greasy meal. Like a breakfast burrito.

He knows everyone but Helen and John so, he will make himself available to them, too.

Also, depending on mod response! I think the photograph on the main floor greatly resembles a clip Dean watched in the theater with John Constantine, so he will be curious, but wary. He doesn't have a good memory with it.

🦑 DAY 24 - 25. Helen will be in a house where the only two people she has met: Doc and Castiel! So, please, come meet her and introduce yourselves to her. She will basically be in this with a this. I like to accessorize sometimes, okay? John only changes his shirt once every 3 days.

There are no plans for her yet so come bug her!

🦑 DAY 26 - 27. Helen will be raiding the CLINIC for supplies, visiting TOWN HALL to drop off what information she has learned, then working on making a VISIT CLINIC in the home she has. She will have a top level for these three locations, so drop on by and meet her!

Day 24

- Mirror experiments: removing the sheets of 2 mirrors, coming back in 30 minutes to 1 hour
- Trying to get a response from the mirror figures
- Contemplating breaking a window for reasons (he won't actually do this in the end)

Day 25

- Further mirror experiments: picking up the coverings, replacing them, rinse and repeat
- During the power outage, he starts getting frustrated but he also goes investigating the doors and the scratching on the upper level, as well as trying to interact more with the shadow mirror figures.
- All of this leads up to Coulson conducting a Very Safe™ experiment with the mirrors that might or might not wind up with him needing a doctor or two. He'll be attempting to punch and/or shatter a mirror with some not so fun consequences. He might need a hand getting back up and someone to mop up a little blood.

Day 26

He'll mostly be laying low and trying to recover, and when he feels up for it, checking in on a few people and venturing to Town Hall.

He might also be stupid and attempt navigating the fog and seeing how far he can get, because you trapped him in a house!! But he'll turn back before anything of significance can happen.

Day 27

On this day, he'll just be staying in, hanging around Town Hall because it's been a lot and he's tired.

THE MYSTERY MANSION —

🦑 DAY 24 - 25. John will be here in our new lovely mysterious mansion! His plans thus far are regulated to checking out those interesting maps with the skeleton keys (as he has one). Yes. He is walking around the mansion in his trenchcoat and underwear. Because to hell with clothes, he was ASLEEP.

Then, finding the whiskey, then sleeping. He's taking a break, drinking for a day, and planning to sleep most of these days. He finally has good alcohol and with a few things that have happened in the last log? Yeah, nappy time for Johnny. Meaning no AP spent. He will be trying to shuffle some whiskey off and be sorely disappointed later.

That doesn't mean he isn't open to threading or plotting! Let me know what you'd like to do with him, if anything.

He might have his Spooky Encounter cashed in depending if our lovely Keeper has time. If not, then onto the next log it goes!

🦑 DAY 26 - 27. Due to the unnatural way of being shifted around? John is holing back up at the Town Hall these two days. Come tell him about your spooky adventures. What secrets did you find? LET HIM KNOW. Because, these two days, John will be working on various projects for all the people who are deeply investigating the town ... or want general knowledge:

— magical trackers for people he is close to, might need hair + blood tho, so real magic hours
— creating a telephone number list on the bulletin board so everyone can know who to contact
— making a ledger of known information such as dates, names, ect. that way there's an IC collection of information for people to add to. would be kept in "office" and that way the OOC information drops can be documented ICly physically
— making a "anon drop box", basically people can write the information down but keep themselves anon except to like... coulson and john (who would have access to open it), that way if they don't feel comfortable saying it face to face, information can still be open/documented by john/couslon adding it to ledger

Dean Winchester | Supernatural | 026-027

Dean will be in full, what the Hell happened mode. He will be back in the movie theatre again to look at the Reel of doom, under light, not to play it again. He'll also be wary around any mirrors. I think I'm very open between these days, that will also involve a certain vampire aftermath. I want to see what goes down in the house. But, please come at me. He will explore with almost anyone, or be a good host if someone stumbles by.

John Carter | ER

Carter is still very new and trying to deal. Which isn't going to be easy given that he's waking up in an unknown location again and wow he's already not a fan?? He's still going to be very overwhelmed by everything and trying to learn the ropes. Would love for him to meet new people that weren't stuck at the New House!

Other than that, he'll probably try and get settled, get himself some clothes, a place to stay, go to the stages of grief, you know. Maybe someone can stop him from being a dumbass and trying to hike into fogdoom in a fit of nope?

Negan is waking up in 1306 where he started! Not sure what will happen after that, or on Day 27, but I'm game for plotting! He'll probably be pretty shaken after the strange happenings, but trying not to show it.

• after being trapped, elijah is going to continue to be withdrawn but he's going to be around the library, the boarding house, and a few of the abandoned houses
  
• with elena resting, he's going to try and take up looking through houses and all
  
• elena found a picture last log that he might try and do some additional legwork for her wrt other houses
  
• again, if people want to confront him, i'm down with that as long as he doesn't die.
  
• he'll also be curious about the lanterns even though they're gone since elena brought up some good theories

DAYS 26-27
Pending what shakes out (ha ha) on days 24-25, Daisy will probably have something like the hangover from hell after her ordeal at the Grey Gull. Being essentially tortured for two days is exhausting, y'all. She's not going to want to just lay around all day though, so expect her to at least be hanging out in common areas around the boarding house and maybe going for a walk or making a supply run to the general store. She might even go for an old-fashioned movie night with junk food — so long as the volume is kept on low.

Open to ideas of all sorts! This will probably be a great time for some people to find out she's a part-alien with superpowers.
