A-HUNTING THEY WILL GO
The residents of Mathias are being hunted. A horrible fate, to be certain, but surely by now they understand that death is only temporary. Probably.

Please note that players are requested to note the details of their character's participation below:

— the HUNTED characters should record whether they will seek shelter or be sacrificed. If they are killed in the hunt, their body's location should be noted as well as what is ultimately done with it by other characters.

— the WITNESS characters should record whether they will shelter the hunted or merely bear witness to their plight. If they shelter the hunted, where are they located? If they find a body, which body, where, and what are they ultimately doing with it and when?

The locations of deaths and any corpse burials will be recorded and presented with the next log, which will cover Day 36 only. (There will be prompts included for both the "living" and the "dead" in this single day log.) Please submit all information by Wednesday, Feb 17.

Ellie is good at surviving and she'll switch to "ration all the food" mode pretty quick, so that will probably annoy her but it's not like a Huge Deal. However, it will also push her to want to look around for another way out, or some answer to where tf the food is going!

So I'm up for an exploration thread or two, esp exploring tunnels.

I am tentatively thinking I'm going to have her be Hunted but only if she gets inside. I'm not looking to write a gory death scene just yet.

I am also up for her finding a body the next day, with the exception of the cowboy dads. Sorry dads. She has too much experience with dead cowboy dads already. Other bodies are fair game though!

This cowboy dad is staying alive! :D I have slotted day 31 in for Doc telling Ellie what he discovered under 1307. Happy to use some Spot Hidden AP to find the entrance into the underground network from 1304 if Ellie is keen? But he got trapped in there in Day 29/30 soooo if they find a way down he really doesn't want to go back down there.

No worries if she's already gonna find some stuff with Neal though :3

Yes! I was thinking depending on the mod response, maybe he tells her about his MOST HORRIBLE DAY and they split up, she finds the entrance and says she didn't because she knows he would insist she not go alone and he would put himself through that suffering again, so he doesn't know she found it and then later on or the next day she's like pssst Neal wanna come?

I'll put a claim for the AP then :3 best to start this stuff early.

If you decide to go the Hunted route, I could volunteer Daisy to get Ellie to safety. She's dying during the Hunt, so and/or Ellie could find her body the next day.

I know I've been slow as balls with Claire, but I'd always love to develop her Thing with Ellie some more. Some more bonding while the scratching is going on? Claire is gonna die alongside Dean on the hunt, oops.

The scratching starts on Day 34, right? Ellie is with Daisy in the evening and then for the hunt part, but earlier than that on day 34 I don’t have anything specific.
