A-HUNTING THEY WILL GO
The residents of Mathias are being hunted. A horrible fate, to be certain, but surely by now they understand that death is only temporary. Probably.

Please note that players are requested to note the details of their character's participation below:

— the HUNTED characters should record whether they will seek shelter or be sacrificed. If they are killed in the hunt, their body's location should be noted as well as what is ultimately done with it by other characters.

— the WITNESS characters should record whether they will shelter the hunted or merely bear witness to their plight. If they shelter the hunted, where are they located? If they find a body, which body, where, and what are they ultimately doing with it and when?

The locations of deaths and any corpse burials will be recorded and presented with the next log, which will cover Day 36 only. (There will be prompts included for both the "living" and the "dead" in this single day log.) Please submit all information by Wednesday, Feb 17.

Sorry for the slow week, had a bit of a depressive episode, but I am out of it. Did you want me to top level or did you want to? Dean's going to go back out into the night to try and find Elena, run into Claire and then we can have them hole up back in the General Store? Maybe in the back room. Have their heart to heart there and then they can steel themselves to fight or die fighting. Or, we could do an extra beat of them realizing that whatever's hunting them is hunting them everywhere they go, and they can have that extra beat of, we can't lead them back to Sam and Cas.

I am just as excited!

Glad to hear you're out of it, and no worries. Don't we all feel that pain.

I think I'm gonna tag out rather than TL since I still have a bunch of threads from January to tag back, so if you could throw up a starter that'd be awesome.

I'd love to go the route of them fleeing from the hunt together (maybe they were out on patrol together to see if they can't find the sources of the scratching?), realizing they're followed everywhere, making the choice not to lead what's hunting them back to anyone else, making the choice to hunker down in the general store, heart to heart, last stand, death \o/

Okay! I can go with that. After Elena/General Store, he returns to patrol with Claire because the night before nothing came of it. But, it's actually dangerous now.

Elena will also be finding Dean's body if you wanted Elena to find Claire's, too. I assume because they're, eek, torn apart, they could be in two places. And Sam player wanted to witness their death at the end, so we could have that happen at the end then? Let me know if that works! Going to finish my inbox and then I'll do the top level!

I'm happy to have Elena find both, if that's okay for Jade - I think if they make their last stand inside, it wouldn't make much sense for both bodies to end up in entirely different locations
