Ahahahaha Doc is gonna go from keeping his head down out of trouble to losing some sanity this week. I don't have anything planned out day by day but wispy mysterious ladylike figures' milkshakes will be bringing the intrigued cowboy to their yard. He will be trying to help them and end up watching them jump. He may also peer over the ledge and shit himself, we'll see.

Prior to this he may investigate what's up with the Town Hall noticeboard and try to ask around if anyone's torn the previous notices down.

Also he won't be burned/killed but he will try to get people to safety and may get hurt, we'll see how this plays out.

Dorian's been hearing about Doc from Raylan and I'm definitely interested in having these two run into one another at some point! Could just be out and about or maybe when Dorian's following the creepy shadows in the forest? Depending on your plans.

Dorian will also be attempting to fight the fire and will likely be injured. Luckily Athena and Jeff will save his ass from becoming a crispy critter.

Wynonna scooped a small handful of the sedatives from the last event so she'll be having a few nightmares. She'll also be seeing the figures and see them jump into the ravine. Also learning the truth.

Oh, and dying. She'll be dying in the fire, too. Probably as a result of trying to help people.

In between all that, she's open for stuff.

No open prompts for this log, so if anyone would like to encounter Daisy somewhere, let me know! Happy to tag in or write up a specific thing while I get back to older threads.

Some thoughts and ideas for this round:

— She'll be finding the remains of the bulletin board early on since she frequents Town Hall. That creepy eye thing is not okay.
— Probably not spotting the things in the water unless someone points them out to her.
— Not much scares Daisy but those sounds at night absolutely make the list.
— She'll probably see the figures jump and maybe look into the ravine. Oops.
— No death by fire but open to helping get people to safety, especially by using her powers.
— Might spend night 78 at the bed and breakfast and experience the unfortunate consequences of that decision.

Ooh there's so much I want to do! I'd really like to use these events as an opportunity to knock some sanity out of Jeff and dive into the ways that a lot of the happenings here are dredging up old supernatural trauma from his past.

Initial thoughts, if anyone wants to join Jeff on these things:

• Day 72 or 73: An attempted FUN DAY AT THE BEACH that ends in spooky shapes and potential drowning attempts (though I don't want Jeff to drown, so SOMEBODY PLEASE SAVE HIM)
  
• Anytime on Days 73-77: Maybe some living room camp outs can happen on Phillips Drive, while the Things are prowling about outside?? Safety in numbers, and an attempt at normalcy! It could be fun to have a last hurrah before ALL THE HOUSES ON THE EAST SIDE OF TOWN BURN DOWN.
  
• Days 76-77: yes Jeff's going to follow the ladies into the woods and yes he's going to look into the ravine and all in all it's going to cost him 10 points of Sanity and his first Madness. It'd be cool if he had a buddy with him while this goes down, if anyone else wants to lose a chunk of sanity! There can be a mutual panic.
  
• Day 78: Not going to have Jeff die in any fires, but I do want him to be involved in this. He'd want to help others get to safety, and if nothing else, get fellow survivors into one place so they can get a count on who's accounted for and who isn't. So I may toss up some open survivors mingle at one of the businesses, if there's any interest in that!
  
• Jeff did swipe some drugs from Baneberry, but hasn't taken any yet. I might have him swallow some pills before the fire, but maybe not IDK. What I AM down for is someone finding his stash before everything goes up in flames!
• ALSO! If you'd like, we can handwave/assume some off screen slice of life interactions that our characters have been getting up to. I live for assumed cr and sadly don't often have enough time to tag everything I want to tag

Jeff is already going to be saving Dorian's backside as is, and likely dealing with the aftermath, but I'm greedy so if you want him to join in on the living room campouts as well, consider him there. He doesn't want to be alone with that ominous something out in the dark at night.

He's not going to admit he might be afraid of the dark a little bit cause that's ridiculous.

JEFFFF. I want more with him and Neal, though it might be tricky since Neal will be bed-bound for a chunk of the log. Maybe Jeff can come over while he's convalescing on the porch of 1306 on the afternoon of day 75?

Raylan Givens | Justified

Day 72 - Raylan's going to be happy to have his shit back and wander around the town seeing what else has changed, hitting up that bulletin board and doing a sweep of the new half of town again - this'll be a perfect day for calm or fun stuff - new CR that kind of thing.

Day 73-75: He's gonna obsessed a little over the figures in the water and generally be freaked the fuck out by nightfall.

Day 76-78: Raylan will see the ravine maybe see the truth beyond and go a little mad (with Jeff) - No deaths for him this time tho he will happily save someone else from the death and when the Fires come, expect him to be losing his mind. Since they can't hide in the water or on the beach, he will be running madly up into the new parts of Mathis, maybe into the forest if someone wants to stop him.

Malcolm helping Raylan when he’s freaking out would be awesome if you need someone for that. Also will need Raylan for stabby oopsie >.> Possibly to help Doc stabilize Neal and/or to talk Malcolm out of running away from the commune.

Day 72: After a lovely night with Raylan and a relatively tame terror, Malcolm will be happy to see his daily affirmations, which he will put on the kitchen island with one (1) bottle of his pills and try to get into a proper morning routine like at home, LIKE A SUCKER, bc things are going south fast from here. Throughout the day, he’s going to find himself weirdly distracted and in that weird distraction, his psychoses will flare up and people might find him talking to his father or the Shadow Man. That night, he has a horrific nightmare of fire consuming all of Philips Drive.

Day 73: After that very bad night, Malcolm’s psychoses are worse and that culminates in Malcolm stabbing Neal in the kitchen at 1306, thinking he’s the Shadow Man. The aftermath will be open to the 1306 commune, with the immediate aftermath involving them screaming for Raylan and Doc for help. Malcolm may contemplate leaving the commune after harming one of the closest friends he’s ever had and Neal might have to send someone to bring him back >.> He will struggle with being a tangible danger to everyone around him. Another horrific fire dream that night.

Day 74/75: He will want to spend some time looking after Neal and might go out to get him fruit and books and stuff, so open stuff in town would be great. He’ll be curious about the shapes in the water if they’re brought to his attention. The weird sounds will make his psychoses worse.

Day 76/77: Very up for Malcolm trying - even in his edgy, anxious state - to stop people going into the forest or stop them falling into the ravine if anyone needs rescued or wants to even meet Malcolm by being rescued. He’s tiny but stronger than he looks.

Day 78: FIRE FIRE FIRE. Malcolm, not realizing the correlation between the medicine and the nightmares, will try to save his giant stash of pills by shoving as many as he can in every pocket that he can. Hoping to have Negan pull him out of the house before he burns to death. He will grab Doc’s snowglobe off the mantle on the way. He will encourage the cowboy dad to be sentimental when he can.

Hoping to move with the commune to suitable housing on Philips Drive West. He’s gotta stick with his family.

Sanity: Malcolm will lose 6 sanity points, bringing him to 72. He will not gain a new madness, but that’s fine. The pill effects on the madnesses he brought with him are doing plenty of damage.

Top-level is planned

Day 72: Nothing concrete planned. Bucky's been squatting in a house on the west side of Jackson Boulevard, fixing it up and spending the odd night or two there. Anyone shuffling by is more than welcome to stop by for a chat. He'll also be down on the beach checking out those storm clouds.

Day 73-75: Back down to the beach periodically through the day. He'll see the dark shapes once or twice and feel that elusive something, as well as hearing the sounds when inside. On the evening of Day 73, he'll be hanging out with Daisy at her place.

At some point, he'll end up at the Gull, too, if nothing else to break up the monotony of things. He's going to be pretty restless.

Day 76-77: Seeing a figure and following it to the ravine where he'll cross paths with Daisy. He'll see them jump but will not be learning the truth. He'll lose 3 pts of sanity here. Open Day 77 for other stuff.

Day 78: Asides from helping a hurt Doc and bringing him to safety, Bucky is going to be going around helping however he can during the fire. If your character needs aid, let me know!

Been meaning to toss Dorian at Bucky. I'm game for pretty much any of these! He could either be going around town meeting his neighbors on 72 or possibly find each other at the beach being generally wary or at the gull. Dorian's been fairly restless and wandering a lot as is.

He will also be attempting to fight fires. So any assistance there is great, but he'll be insistent on keeping to it even when it's clear it's not helping. Jeff and Athena already are going to save him before he gets burned alive, but I'm up for them meeting any whichway.

I'm game for whatever!

Callisto | Xena: Warrior Princess

WHEW, OKAY

1) So on the quieter, more mundane side of things, Callisto is going to actively fight the compulsion to seek indoor shelter on 073-075, and will be extremely grumpy about it when she eventually does. Who wants an angry, feral mess camping out on the floor?

2) As for later in the week - there's a decent chance that she'll check out the forest lurker, and therefore be drawn to the ravine. Whether or not she'll go so far as to look into the ravine I'm still waffling on, but either way, I'd love a buddy for her to experience all this with.

3) FIRE FIRE FIRE. How she reacts here will depend on how much sanity she's lost by this point. Normally she's... far more fascinated by fire than she has any real right to be, tbh - but if her sanity level dips below 60, she'll disassociate during this and probably have to be rescued, if anyone is interested in playing that out!

Jeff's definitely going to be inviting people to hunker down at 1308 when possible, if Callisto wants to camp out there for a night. (There might be a group campout in 1306 for a night too? NOT 100% SURE ON IT)

Oh oh oh or he can be a totally unexpected rescuer during the fire!

Negan | The Walking Dead

Not many concrete plans!

Interested in him checking out the ravine... tempted to have him look into it if anyone wants to be his ill-advised plan buddy.

He'll also be saving Malcolm from burning to death in their house when the fire reaches it.

Other than that, I'm up for pretty much anything. None of this will settle well with Negan and he'll likely be pretty restless/antsy.

Not throwing down anything too concrete since it will be a lot of him just getting to know people/the town, but here's some stuff that he will be getting up to~

Day 072. aka Arrival Day. He'll be running into Athena and then she'll take him to see Kirigan.

Days 073-75. Some general exploration. He'll make his way to the beach at least once or twice, if only because of the novelty of having an ocean so nearby. Even his world has legends of sea creature type things, so there's some musing to be had there. Fedyor also won't be hiding out at night. He'll keep inside for the most part because he's not one to ignore instinct, but he's also not the sort to just stand around when something potential awful is happening. (Currently waiting to hear back about being outside at night.)

Days 076-077. Nothing in mind yet. Open for shenanigans.

Day 078. Find refuge in the non-fire half of town, but also willing to help anyone who may need help.

But for the most part, I'm pretty open to whatever. Let me know if you want Fedyor anywhere~

Dorian Pavus | Dragon Age: Inquisition

Dorian is getting settled into his home, he may or may not have found some books at the Library to teach himself things like maybe a cookbook? Or somesuch. Though if anyone is willing to cook for him, he'd definitely rather take them up on that!

72- And lo and behold he has his own clothes! So you can probably see him kicking about town in all his leathered glory, spellbook on his hip. He'd definitely be testing it out and practicing magics. He's likely been doing this at least once a day already. Also keeping an eye on that storm...

73-75 - Definitely going to be going to the beach or some high vantage point to keep an eye on that storm and observe the shapes. The unsettling darkness at night may prompt him to seek out company so he isn't alone in his home. So if anyone is up for having a mage crash on their couch? or more if they're really bored and wanting a distraction

76-77 - Against his better judgment he'll be distracted during one of these days, probably 77. I'd like to think 76 he might ignore the pull or distraction and move his magic training elsewhere. But 77 he'll give in and follow into the woods to get lost. He'll follow the figures and try to cautiously approach to see them jump off. He'll go running for the edge but stay well back, and may or may not approach to see the stretch of darkness and the Truth. Maybe, I haven't decided yet, but he might be compelled to look and lose his first chunk of sanity!

78 - FIRE, FIRE!

OKAY SO seeing the homes catch Fire Dorian will throw caution to the wind, his limits be damned, and he will go try to fight the fire with his magic. Attempts will be made to control the fire, and/or use ice spells to slow the burn and save homes, to no avail. He'll soon realize the Fire is basically sentient and immediately will think to the fiery demons they encounter often. Rage Demons are a thing and feeling like this is more in his wheelhouse, or like mayhap he may be one of the few residents familiar, he would try to fight it.

It will fail spectacularly, but he will try. Despite all frustrations or flinging hap-hazard and weak spells, he's determined to power through his nerfs. He's in denial, he's so sure he can beat this. He can't. And the flames will zero in on him and try to consume him.

Athena and Jeff will be the ones to save his perfect ass from death. He'll most likely come away with injuries for his efforts and a very wounded pride. He's not keen on this feeling of uselessness or failure when he knows he's strong, skilled, and much better than this. So that's a thing he'll need comfort and friendship for. But he'll need time to recover in general.

Athena is having a bonfire in the afternoon/evening of day 73, so they could bump into each other there too while she forcefully tries to stay cheerful and ignore the shapes in the water. Want to handwave them having met, possibly through Jeff pending Ros's approval?

Ellie | The Last Of Us

DAY 72
Ellie tends to check the bulletin board every other day or so, so she’ll definitely notice this pretty much right away and it will be very unnerving to her. She won’t leave a note here, though, because what would be the point? She might ask people about it later as she encounters them.

Day 73 - 75
She wouldn’t try swimming because while she’s a strong swimmer, she doesn’t trust this place anyway lmao! But she’ll be very on edge obviously.

Day 76
Even though she absolutely knows better, she’ll end up following the figures into the woods. She’s generally at home in the woods and has kind of looked around in the woods here (mostly to try to find animals, but obviously there aren’t any here!). She’s not enough of the concerned type to try to stop them; she’s more interested to see where these freaky people (are they people?) go. So she’ll see them jump into the ravine. And that is more than enough for her thanks. She won’t be seeing the truth of this world and will hightail it the fuck outta there after that. I’d love to have her run into someone at this point!

Day 78

Ellie’s a light sleeper so the storm will wake her up. Thanks to that, she’ll get out of her house on Phillips in time to avoid, you know, dying in the fire. She’s not a hero or anything so she won’t die trying to save anyone else. (Also I just really don’t enjoy writing death, if you haven’t noticed!) That said, I’m up for her being injured trying to save someone else!

Neal Caffrey || White Collar

72 - Nothing much planned for today! I'm going to have him discover the bulletin board and probably do some more work on the garden house before it BURNS TO THE GROUND, and he'll probably leave the doors and windows open while he paints if anyone wants to smell it and wonder wtf he's doing.

73 - No plans for the morning, but around lunchtime he's getting stabbed in the abdomen by a delirious Malcolm. 8D Needless to say, the rest of his day will be occupied. He will get his first dose of sedatives to help him sleep, which means his first HORRIBLE DREAM.

74 - First day recuperating after being stabbed. Will probably have a toplevel open to 1306 and established CR. He's going to be distinctly out of it, both from blood loss and from sedatives. MORE NIGHTMARES, WHICH WILL LEAD TO--

75-76 - Whoops another madness. Still deciding on what I want it to be, but Neal will spend days 75 and 76 hanging out on the porch of 1306 or sleeping (probably in the garage, since it's the easiest bedroom to get to).

77 - He's gonna try and hobble his way to the garden house to get some art supplies because he's bored and stubborn. Would love for someone to either catch him on the way there or back and stop him/help him home/ask wtf he's doing.

78 - FIRE TIME. Raylan is going to be helping Neal escape the flames, and Fedyor is going to keep him from bleeding out when he pops his stitches doing it. Other than that I'm open!

Athena Carrigan || OC

72 - She's gonna be finding Fedyor and bringing him to Kirigan with the enthusiasm of someone who's a dubious judge of character. Other than that I'm going to bounce her around some other toplevels!

73 - BONFIRE BY GOD. I never got around to having her do it last log, so she's going to do it this time on the afternoon/evening of 73. IGNORE THE WEIRD THINGS IN THE WATER THIS IS FINE EVERYTHING'S FINE.

74/75 - Nothing planned really except living room campouts on Phillips.

76 - Probably gonna see the women-things jump into the ravine and then get an eyeful of the HORRIBLE OBLIVION, dropping her to 69 sanity and kicking off her second as-yet-undecided madness. Looking for someone to possibly have this little adventure with her or yank her back from the edge after she starts freaking out over what's (not) there. This night she'll have her future revelation about the supposed reappearance of the serial killer who kidnapped her.

77 - Athena is going to start thinking she's being followed again/is going to have some mild hallucinations. She'll probably go straight to Jeff and Raylan and Malcolm about these, but I'm game for someone finding her panicking about it before then too. She's probably gonna have a meltdown some time late in the day oops.

78 - She and Jeff are gonna help Dorian get away from the fire. Other than that, I'm open!

Billy Russo | Marvel

As usual with Billy, nothing firmly set in stone and I'll just see where the even takes him. The only thing I'm pretty set on his him looking down the ravine which will result in a madness for him, which I haven't quite decided upon.

Other than that, everything is free game. He's here to fill in gaps in your plotting schedule~

No real concrete plans for Tai. He'll definitely notice the bulletin board, not sure yet if he's going to witness the other strange things going on. I'm sure he'll be Very Aware of the feeling of *something* coming, with his Force intuition and all that, but he won't have any better luck knowing details than anyone else. He hasn't taken pills, so no nightmares.

When the fire hits, he'll do what he can to help get people to safety, so let me know if you want him to rescue anybody. He's probably going to be extra unnerved by the fire, considering his Jedi school also went up in flames very shortly before he arrived here.

Dorian's going to be out there trying to slow the fires with his magic or at least corral it away from the homes for as long as he can. If you would like to have them run into one another? He may or may not mistake Tai as Solas at first.

Though I'm game if you want them to run into each other in a different capacity. I was going to hit you up the last log but that fell through on my end.
