A BRIEF REPRIEVE

The unwilling residents of Mathias Township have been granted a brief reprieve from all the madness. Well, most of them have, anyway...

All wasn't quite ready for the Big Things ahead, so this is a little in-between log for everyone to catch their breath. Say hi to the new arrivals, go for a hike in the forest, or maybe throw rocks in the giant crack in the town. We'll be back to our regularly scheduled oddities soon!

As a new arrival, Cait's going to spend these few days trying to get her bearings. She'll also be dealing with the fact that she's cut off from her other personality, Killer Frost, and with how quiet it is in her head.

DAY 59 she's going to wake up on the beach and make her way to the Grey Gull. I'm open to a single thread there with 1 or 2 responders. She wants coffee and to be warm and answers. Later in the day, she's going to find her way into Malcolm and Klaus's group therapy session at the Schoolhouse.

The rest of that day, and DAYS 60 & 61, will be spent exploring the other buildings in town and figuring out where she's going to stay for the time being. So... I'm open to anything! Hit me up if you want something specific here or plurk or discord.

Tony's going to be spending some of this log doing some scavenging around town if you'd be down for him running into her at some point during her exploring!

He's also going to be making an appearance at Klaus and Malcolm's group therapy session so that's also an option too! :D

I'm absolutely down for them running into each other that way! What are some of the spots where he might be scavenging?

I don't want to be greedy since Raylan is in the Gull all the time, but I'd love for Raylan to run into her around town on maybe the latter two days. Any chance she'll be around/near the gap? He's a little obsessed with it - That or the library maybe? He visits there often enough!

She would absolutely be curious about what's on that side of town, so she could very plausibly be around/near the gap. Might even give herself a major headache trying to make an ice bridge across it.

Awesome! You got a day that works best for you? He's already there, day 59, he'll be trying to cross day 60, and he'll come back on the 61th to glare at it reproachfully.

Oh no, I can totally do the chasm on that day. Once she showers and changes clothes, she's going to want to dig in to figuring out wtf is going on.
